Colonial
Williamsburg Henry Street/Rt 199 Ph.
800-history
This sight will have you spending
1774 treasury notes and singing "my hat, it has three corners" while
you dodge horse droppings all the way to the milliner's. The historic district
itself doesn't require a ticket - walk around, march behind the fife-and-drum
corps, and lock yourself in the stocks for free. Most of the
"colonial" shops and two of the historic buildings-the Wren Building
and the Bruton Parish Church-are also open to the public.
